Inviting Others to Join a Group
Once your group is created, you may choose to invite others to join your group. Simply navigate to your Group's page and click "Manage this Group".
In the Group Manager, visit the "Join Requests and Invites" tab.
Brokers of Expertise lets you manage group invitations very
easily.
Group leaders can invite multiple people to a group at
one time.
You may use the Account Name field to search existing account
holders and invite them to join your group. Simply look up an
existing BoE member by typing the first few letters of their name,
click add, then look for someone else, click add, etc. Once
you are done, click the "Invite Users" button to send out the
invitation.
You may also us the E-mail Address(es) field
to invite multiple people using their email addresses,
separated by a comma. For example,
person1@school.org,
person2@school.org,
person3@school.org,
etc.
You may use the Reason for request/note to designate a common
message to send to all invitees.
Note: You can customize messages to one or more invitees
as needed after you click the Add button.
Once you've added the names or email addresses of the people you would like to invite to join your group, you can edit the message sent to them, decide whether to invite them as group member or group leader using the drop-down list and then click the "Invite Users" button to send out the invitation.
